So I see Finebaum on SEC nation and that is about it. He seems annoying, but nothing awful. Then I saw him and Steven A Smith go back in forth a few days ago. Is that really Paul Finebaum or what his show is like most of the time. He was an absolute douche and acted as if he knew everything that was going on. I have no point of reference because I don't listen to him. Which is the real Paul?

You have to remember Finebaum is a Tennessee grad. He’s from Tennessee. UT absolutely HATES Lane. Couple that with being up the behind of the SEC home office, and the University of Alabama —- and this is why he wants the death penalty for Lane

The worst thing espn ever did was convince the world that finebaum is the voice of the sec. The fricking hack had a shitty radio show in Birmingham where auburn and Alabama fans would call in and fight.
That’s it.
He was never even syndicated in most of the sec markets, certainly never Baton Rouge or New Orleans. It’s like saying Richard Condon is the authority on sec sports. frick off.

TRUTH. He used to be a guest on a popular Jacksonville Sports Talk radio program and listening to him was like fingers on a blackboard. He sucked then and sucks worse now.
Sankey sold his soul to ESPN for the SEC Network.
The SEC presidents won’t fire Sankey because they don’t want egg on their faces, but the man is incompetent.

Not really news TBH. He's one of the reasons I listen to no college talk shows other than Hester and Flynn
