Delly basically told him there is a very real chance LSU comes out of the meeting with no penalty and he couldn't believe it.
Said it went all the way up to congress and the PCSA. Basically, don't piss off the two most powerful members of the house if they want the bill to have a chance at passing.

This I believe. My guess is that Sankey even took a call from the B1G telling him to cool off, they needed the PCSA.

That's the fun part about all this. The SEC is learning in real time that it is not, in fact, bigger or more powerful than some of its member institutions.
People with actual power will fight for the things they love. And no one loves the SEC more than they love the home team.

Asked Dellinger how can they not do anything to LSU simply because they have agreed to follow the rules?
