Why the hell didn’t LSU make that 2011 offseason conditioning program standard. The 2011 team was the most conditioned team LSU’s ever had.

Agreed. That D...

I can't remember which specific player it was on that team, but he said that games were like a break for them because of the way they'd been practicing. Games were easier. Some of Fehoko's comments in the article are similar. I hope we get similar results!

Very true....Aranda too busy rushing three and dropping eight so we can get gashed running or throwing.

Maybe we shouldn’t have 3 defensive tackles rushing the quarterback on the line. We need more speed off the edges.

I dont know if you have noticed or not but Chaisson has been getting neutralized.

As far as being neutralized it’s not as bad as it sounds. Defenses just have to learn to adapt. That’s what makes Utah St such a perfect opponent before Fla, Aub, and Ala. LSU coaches can see where they are defensively.

Sure. And then get the ball crammed down our throats. No thanks.

If you’re going to be a defensive coordinator in today’s college football then you better learn how to attack these offenses.

I remember the LSU defense getting ready for Oregon.

Les had two offensive units running against them. The defense had an entire new crew to go against at warp speed.

That defense survived and thrived.

Maybe we are not in the shape we need to be in to go fast. Maybe we are too soft at practice if we cant handle a quick pace. Everyone is going to go fast. Get used to it.

Look what LSU’s defense did to both Oregon and Alabama that year during the regular season. Aranda is a talented DC, is he talented enough to learn how to attack today’s fast pace offenses? All college DC’s today are kinda in the same pickle barrel.

Lol the fact that you don’t realize a lot of NFL DCs effectively do this against actual great QBs just shows how ignorant the “blame Aranda for everything” crew is. It doesn’t matter what you call if you don’t have players.

So instead of getting in better shape, we would rather go back to the old offense or lack there of. That is extremely selfish and shows his work ethic!

I’m not going to bash Fehoko for being honest, LSU’s Dline with all the changes on offense, the injuries on defense and lack of substitution, it’s probably the toughest thing they’ve had to endure on the football field at LSU.

He spelled it out, you’re gassed, no one’s coming to replace you. Gotta get some healthy rotation in there. That’s critical for LSU vs Fla, Aub, and Ala.

Also Rohan said something interesting this evening on radio, LSU’s secondary isn’t playing like Aub’s secondary, they look completely different. A lot of that has to do with Steele and the pressure he applies upfront and a senior secondary knowing assignments. He noted Aub’s defense is playing championship football. One thing is certain, we all get to see how Aub’s DC attacks LSU, if they tire or get confused.
