Record the game. Go to the recital which is way more important than the game that you can watch later. Trust me.

Before my wife knew I was working, or the game was at 230, she booked family pics at 330. Now, we can’t cancel or get the $200 back.

I live in the DFW area as well. Rowlett to be exact. Thinking about going to II Brothers to watch the game.

I feel like he won’t get out of the recital without finding out who wins. DVR might not work.

Pretty sure if this is a Fall Dance recital, there's probably a Christmas one, and a spring one, and a summer one... My point: unless this is her last, or she's a prodigy who will be going to Juilliard, you can miss one recital. Have your wife record it, and watch it your daughter after.
If your 11 year old daughter throws a hissy fit about you missing a single dance recital, then she’s a spoiled brat.

We're talking about a football game, correct?
And it’s not like LSU is playing Utah State. This is LSU-Bama. #1 vs #2.

4:30. Wtf.
It’s a CBS game. You’ll only miss part of the first quarter.

What is wrong with men these days? Skip the recital. There will be one in the spring. And probably the nutcracker and Cinderella. They do something every couple of months. My dad missed all my football games growing up for LSU games and I turned out just fine.
questionable

Stream the game on your phone with AirPods. Watch your daughters part then go back to watching game.

Exactly.
He won’t miss too much if it’s over by 4:30
