Les won a natty and took us to another and won 80% of his games and we kicked him out 3 weeks into his 11ths season. The real reason was that he was not Nick Saban. We replaced him with Ed Orgeron, who was very lucky in 2018-2019 to stumble upon the greatest QB in school history. After 2019 we all know what happened. You want to repeat history
We have hired some really bad HCs. Mike Archer was too young...Curley Hallman and Ed Orgeron were both the same level but one inherited a dumpster fire while the other one inherited a Ferrari but the end result was the same....Dinardo was fine for a couple of years before taking his eyes of the ball and starting his own restaurant. Considering where we were in 2004, we could have done better than Les, but at least he preserved a great program.
So our hires before this have been bad. If Kelly goes...so will Woody...and then we will have a problem.

there are a lot of teams that are paying tons of money and have great programs....just from the SEC alone. Every year is pushing it, but, we are overdue for sure. This year is make it or bust, imo, for BK.

There are roughly $50M reasons why this won't be his last year.
LSU is not cutting a check that big to fire him after 4 seasons. I think the contract alone keeps him here at least 6 years. Woodward went out and got the "home run" hire fans demand. That comes at a steep price and heavy commitment.

The greatest college baseball program ever makes it to Omaha 50% of the time but football making it 100% of the time is a fair standard? Bruh….
Football should make the 12-team playoff 25-50% of the time, 1/3 seasons would be a fair, lofty standard.

We should make the playoffs...but this place is going to be glorious if we end up 9-3 and barely miss it and BK doesn't get fired (which he won't). There is a very decent chance this could happen.

CBK made some big coaching personnel errors early on at LSU that costed him and put him in the position his is in this year. Playoffs or bust.
And after CJJ won it all this year in Omaha… CBK is feeling it more than he already was.
