Omg, Mike's habitat was receiving donations years before Joe got there.

Where do you people come from?

That's right, O pumpers. Just like giving him credit for everything another coach built.

1 title since he's been here from a guy he didn't hire. Yeap, bang up Job.

Funny, I'm asking the same thing about people like you.

1. Mike's Habitat was rebuilt and improved under Joe Alleva's watch. Period.

2. You zeroed in on that one thing, and ignored the other 34 things I listed he's done.

Have a nice day!

not caving to the PETA/PC/SJW lobby that may or may not have decided to come out and crush him in the headlines. Replacing Mike took more balls than people give him credit for.
You've got to be kidding me if Joe was the reason we got a new Mike... I've got oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.

The ball was rolling before Alleva

We built one of thirst full-size indoor practice facilities when Saban was here.

We know it’s an arms race.

Also the money coming into the AD has exploded with TV deals.

Alex Box Stadium Built 2009
2011 Added 8 new suites and 48 new terrace seats
2017-2018 Adding new HD TV's
2018 Adding weight room

I'll give it a Grade of C- in my opinion...also caters to the elite and rich of the suites zones, and Not to those who sit in the stands.

It reminds me of a minor league ball stadium on a budget. Not a very plush park.

Alex Box has bleacher seats down the base lines and the comfort level of the General fans are not worried about.

Doesn't have the Feel of Old Alex Box either.

Tiger Stadium

A lot of the same thoughts about Alex Box are continued with Tiger Stadium.

Caters to the elite and rich of the suites zones, and Not to those who sit in the Endzones and Sidelines (Lower Bowl)

OVER PRICED FOOD

Over Priced Parking.

Terrible Home Schedule!! (the suckers will Come)... No not really!!

Sad realities are starting to be clearly seen....

Absolutely incredible that he planned, raised funds, broke ground, and fully constructed those stadiums in the 6 months from his start date to opening pitch!!!

With Alleva, it WILL be ready in time

Similarly to how I replied before...bottom line is, both broke ground on his watch. And just as I pointed out before, you nitpicked on two items from a list of thirty-five accomplishments by Alleva.

Nope, although we are roughly the same age.

Yeah I really miss those poles in the center of the seats, too.

Brace for a price increase on all concessions.

People expect to get overpriced concessions but it should be at least warm. I mean hot dogs, nachos, etc. Cold water on hot days. It's been luke warm water on hot days, nacho cheese that is cold, cold hot dogs, running out of concessions, etc.... I mean it's concession stand 101 and it didn't improve all season.

Fix the quality, not the price and the pissing and moaning will calm down.

That is nice but he is the worst at coaching searches which matter just as much. Every search except for will Wade was a shite show under him

I think FKing stabbed him in the back when he tried to get rid of Miles in 2015.

Well prior to the 2013 season Alleva just gave Miles a huge contract extension and a $15 million buyout.....then 2 seasons later he wanted to fire him. This won't go over well here, but I kind of understand why FKing said no in 2015.

Whoever let it get to the point it did is the party at fault. A 9-3 season in 2015 was disappointing after starting 8-0, but it wasn't a fireable offense in of itself.

If Alleva thought he had the green light until the last minute then it's on FKing

If FKing had no idea what was going on until Alleva was already leaking stuff to The Advocate, then it's on Alleva

Only way it's on both is if they were on the same page until the Jimbo deal fell apart the week of the A&M game and then with no plan b they just said frick it and kept Miles.

Would have been fine had they not LEAKED the plan!! Just keep it quiet and if your plan doesnt work then nobody's the wiser.

Nearly every single project was a brainchild of the Bertman admin. But yeah Alleva saw it through the end I suppose.

That’s like giving Clinton credit for the 90’s economy.

No way that's true.

Tiger Stadium didn't start getting spruced up until Alleva came. That fact alone would make him the best facilities AD ever.

south endzone expansion plans were initiated in the Bertman admin. New tennis facility was initiated in the bertman admin..bball practice facility, and many more. I was in the athletic dept at that time and saw initial renderings....doesn't mean alleva didn't tweak them, etc. Furthermore, these things have waayy more to do with TAF than the AD
