I have two sons at LSU, they don't think much of him or his policy decisions concerning academics. In short, he is there to keep the status quo, do as little as possible, and make a lot of cheese.

Cause it is typical LA politics. Guess that is why they like him. Well I hope all the rumors of him joining Hillary's staff is true.

The Board is full of Les lackeys. You can forget about Les going anywhere until many of the Board of Supervisors are replaced.

Hillary knows LSU Alabama has decided the last 7 elections.

F King was planted here to make sure Miles stayed through the 2016

Why does everyone hate Alexander? I'm genuinely curious.

Because LSU would've had a new football coach last year without him jumping in and not letting the AD do what he felt was best for the football program moving forward. Right or wrong, that's why.

The board member from Monroe, Mr. Moore, did not attend LSU. He went to NLU, so why would he care?

I'm not saying he's a perfect president. He's far from it.

But I had to laugh at the idiots on here who thought he was close to being fired

If it's a crime to clean up Dubya's and other republican dumbasses' messes and get this country functioning again, then yes, Obama should go to jail for life.

Why because the football team isn't great? And he was candid about the timeline of events last November? You people who think King's superiors rate his job performance on that are fricking idiots. He's being graded on his ability to stabilize the university system amidst a record breaking budget crisis, with the legislature and former governor to blame. So the firing misshaped... who gives a frick, his job priorities aren't exactly aligned with your perception of what is LSU.
Now, if they gave approval to Les Miles I'd be shocked.

Exactly.
I laugh every time I get on this board and see folks talking about the "poor job" Alexander has done as president. Why.................? Because he kept a football coach? That's the least of his duties. He's actually done a great job as the president of the university. The football team and athletics in general fall on the AD.

There are quite a few reasons he is a poor president, but many are political in nature. The academic end is fricked as well. But let's focus on his frick up with Les Miles. It is easier that way. He is still a shite sandwich no matter which way you slice it.

Would it be too inconvenient for you to point out exactly which messes he's fixed, and what exactly he did to fix them?
