If he’s not then name another pitcher that is

Probably somebody in the pros somewhere

Based on what?
“Eye test” obviously doesn’t count lol

He's been better than Anderson, somehow quietly. His ERA is a whole point lower.

Agreed and if Noot can continue to improve this week we could be dangerous.

Pitching seems to be turning a corner as a whole.
Eyanson and Anderson are both aces and have been all year.
Even with some recent stumbles I still think we can count on Cowan and Evans in any situation.
Noot has been improving and has had some good outings recently.
Primeaux has been able to come in and reliably get 1-2 outs.
Rizy and Mayers have just been getting better.
Fontenot, Williams, and Ware all have the ability to contribute.
Who am I missing?

He's been killing it recently too.

Anderson can give up some big hits, at times

Eyanson has not given up more than 2 runs in a start since Auburn. That’s 6 straight starts.

I feel super confident every time he goes out that he will deliver. Hasn’t had a bad game in forever

If hitting gets hot, we will be tough to beat.

It’s nice having a 1A and 1B. Eyanson has only given up 3 runs in his last 33 IP. Kade and Eyanson are both top nationally in SOs too, #1 and #4.

Eyanson has a knack of just getting out there and battling his arse off, no matter if he's in a jam or not
We saw early season Shores just wilt when he got into pressure spots, hopefully he has turned the corner as well
Imagine if we had 3 top liners on this staff

I agree. I'm gay for some Eyanson

in his last 6 appearances he’s throw 32.2 innings and given up 3 runs.
He has the lowest ERA of anyone in SEC play with over 35 IP.

Not bad for a 2nd team all-SEC pitcher
