Lots of hype for 2007. LSU was ranked #2 in the preseason behind USC. They had finished 11-2 in 2006 while winning their last 7 games and waxed Notre Dame 41-14 in the Sugar Bowl. I guess 20 years was a very long time ago.

2006 should have been a national championship team. Four first round draft picks. That was our first look at “two loss” Miles.

I wrote on a piece of paper in May of 2019 15-0 national champs at work and I have to say I really believed it too
So I was stoked then but with Kiffin I am on cloud 9

I’m excited to see all the changes. If we make the playoffs I’ll be super excited for the future. I’m just ready to sit and watch the tigers and not calling what play they will run next to the letter every series. Jesus BK ms program was so damn bad. Like beyond bad.

Going into the 2019 season I had LSU as 1 of 6 teams I thought had a reasonable shot of winning it all. I didn't see the greatest season of all time coming, but I wasn't shocked LSU won.

We can win a title pretty much every year based on our program and the baseline of talent we always have.

I compare it to Ohio State. Never far away it just takes lightning in a bottle and it unravels.

Disagree to point on this one. There was some hype with Burrow saying we would open up and score 40-50 points per game. However we did not play a big season opener that year and had to go to Texas week two. We did not have another decent big game until first of Oct when UF came to town.

The problem was we knew we were good in Sept but did not know how good until UF and Aub games were in the bag.

Me and a buddy got to watch Sam throw to the receivers today and they looked great. Sharp routes and throws that were on the money. We were standing on the top row of the bleachers at U-High’s field watching practice while our kids were at baseball camp at LSU.

Then a staff member came jogging over and told us it was a closed practice and we had to leave lol
