Slowing down is not evasive actions. You have a duty to not tailgate.

The gold truck doesn’t take any “evasive action” until after the crash happens.. in front of the gold truck.
Based on the video it seems much more likely to me that the gold truck turned off into the parking lot because of the head on collision occurring right in front of him than because of Lacy.
Also I just timed it. It’s not “hundredths of a second.” The gold truck turns off of the road a full second after the head-on collision occurs.
The more I watch the video, the more I wonder whether the lady behind the gold truck would have been in an accident regardless of whether Lacy was even on the road that day. Gold truck was driving 29 mph 2 seconds before the crash according to the lawyer. She was driving 50 mph and never slammed on her brakes or swerved until 0.5 seconds before the crash, and even then only slowed down to 40 mph before the crash occurred according to the vehicle data. Meanwhile, somehow the crash occurs so far ahead of the gold truck that it takes a full second for him to pass it.

You only see roof of truck with no relation to it's location on the road.
The lawyer did a good job obscuring the facts.
Why didn't he provide Lacy's speed of movement?
Why didn't he explain the less than 1.5 seconds of reaction time?
Did he share the complete statement of the gold truck driver or selectively edit the data?
The LSP trooper did a horrible job leading the witness on the statement. WAS that information in the final report description of the incident, NO.

70 yards is pretty close when two vehicles are traveling toward one another and can cover that distance in less than 2 seconds.
The cop on scene during the investigation did not know who Kyran was or his color probably. He simply took statements from folks of what happened and tried to bure the written statements were complete Kyran left the scene remember. He takes it back for further investigation with other officers.
Then the district attorneys office looks at everything and decides who to prosecute if anyone at all. Then the jury decides whether someone is guilty or innocent.
Not the cops fault. If Kyran was innocent he had an opportunity for a trial
Boo e made Kyran fight with his family and take his life. That was his choice.

The vehicle that crossed the centrr line and hit and killed the oncoming driver was not reacting to Lacy's vehicle, she was reacting to the gold truck in front of her who braked. She was following too closely. The fault lies with her.

How did video NOT come out the day of the accident? If a fatality accident happened near me the video would be the first place I’d go for evidence. Are police this incompetent????

This guy went from 50 mph to 25 mph in a short distance and moved off the road for what reason?
She was tailgating at 49 to 50 mph but lawyer on mentions gold truck at about 25 mph. Didn't mention him slowing down to avoid green Charger speeding in oncoming lane with less than 1.5 seconds reaction time.

Vehicles in front of me hard brake all the time. Doesn't matter why, if I rear-end them or swerve into the oncoming lane and hit a vehicle it is my fault 100% of the time.

I could buy this but to me the most damning piece of evidence against Lacy would have been the driver of the trucks statement but on video his near exact quote is “the lady behind me caused that accident”
So why keep spouting a line of what he did that doesn’t agree with what he is on camera saying what he did?

The gold truck slowing down to allow Lacy to get back in his lane was not the cause of the accident. The vehicle behind the gold truck that was speeding and tailgating so closely she had to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid rearending the gold truck is the cause, and only cause, of the wreck. Had she not been speeding or tailgaiting the wreck wouldn’t have occured regardless of Lacy.

Thus us ridiculous....slowing down "allowing KL to " get back in his lane"
Thus completely discounts the fact thst he HAD TO SLIW DIWN and actually pull off to the right BECAUSE KL was driving recklessly and illegally passing at a high rate of speed...KL was the catalyst that started the whole chain of events...you conveniently white washed the whole reason the guy had to brake hard, not slowdown, and actually pull off to the right..whether funjun was tailgaiting or not ...Go look at the video again. At the very least KL started it.

For about the 15th time, the video doesn’t show the guy pulling off to the right until a full second after the head-on collision happens ahead of him. Why are you so convinced he pulled to the right because of Lacy (who you can’t see on the video), rather than because of the fatal crash that just happened right in front of him (which is blatantly obvious on the video)?

At the time of the accident, KL was no longer passing cars and was in the proper lane of travel 2 cars behind the Gall vehicle.
At the same time as KL was driving safely, Funyuns was tailgating and speeding while eating and listening to her music.
Her infractions were given no weight.
Hypothetical: I had to drive 95 mph on I-10 today to get around some really slow vehicles. Someone sees me driving fast and changes lanes in front of me and hits another vehicle.
I am not the cause of the above.
Every driver needs to stay alert and drive defensively. You can't control what another driver might or might not do or how they might react..
You're hell bent on pinning this completely on Lacy when other people's carelessness contributed moreso to the accident.

Funyun lady said that he stopped in the middle of the road. I’m not saying he did or didn’t — just sharing what was reported that she said. The video showed that at some point after the crash he turned right into I guess a parking lot/lot of some kind.
I wish there was another camera angle.
