Yes, though the DA themselves found that there wasn't enough evidence to charge him (I understand that a grand jury indictment is required).

LSP botched this and it likely cost Kyren his life.

Assuming that is the video and it's legit, everyone involved needs to have legal issues.

Your interpretation of attorney is why they do these public showings. They give you the truths they want you to see. Deflect with other pieces of information to which are relevant to various degrees.

Regarding the video — if the DA had it at that time are they required to give it to the defense? I wonder if the defense had tried to find/ontain this video on their own?

I am an attorney. I know how attorneys operate. I also know how DAs operate and what they need to charge suspects.

They did not have to give it to defense until he was charged.

The law is 100ft per the attorney in the video

Is this really true. You just have to be back in your lane 100 feet before the oncoming car?

If 2 cars are going 50mph or more, 100 feet isn’t even enough time to react to get back in your lane.

Fortunately I don’t know how any of this works.

And he would only get charged if the grand jury voted for that right?

Wonder if the defense had looked/tried to obtain any video?

Must disclose (Technically) in time for trial. In reality, it's supposed to be turned over as soon as it's discovered. Otherwise it's a Brady violation and a conviction can be vacated.

Lawyer talk —- do you know what they are referring to when they state “black box”. Every vehicle built since 2014 has a “black box” (Event Data Recorder). They retrieved this from all vehicles. It provides the objective data relative to speed before hard breaking , breaking, and impact (if your vehicle had an impact). They applied this objective data to the video (which is also objective ) to determine KL could not have contributed to the cause of this accident. Things how they KNOW for a fact he was 276 feet behind the accident when it occurred. So continue to stand on that wall you built and lose what little credibility you had left on this board. You can show some balls and admit you misunderstood the actual facts of the investigation or continue on with this absurdity. It is a message board , so by all means continue to troll if you like. Just know in doing so that no one here will ever take anything you say seriously in any way.

Video of interview — 4:00

Hope this comes up at the 4 minute mark. They mention it a little after.

Easy dick. Chill out.

I seem to remember the law enforcement agency of record stating very publicly that they had evidence to charge.

My point being, this video isn’t new. Surely they had access to it and very obviously knew Kyren didn’t have anything to do with it. And they had to know it would surface eventually. This is so messed up.

SO of the defense by chance had it prior to GJ, what can they do with it? Not much at that point right? I’d have to think they looked into video of the accident.

The most tragic thing I've ever seen.

I hope they sue for whatever they can get.
