Yall bitch and whine on the rant but are still going to be watching. You won’t be able to tell the difference if a player was in the NFL or NBA or not when they are wearing a purple and gold jersey out there. If anything this is making us better and going to boost viewership. This is only making LSU and LSU sports better. If it upsets you, then go suck your thumb in the corner; no one cares.

This shite needs to happen for it to eventually get fixed. It's not pretty, but it's necessary.

It’s making the world a better place right Burt. CFB is certainly not as good as it’s heyday but still way better than any pro sport.

If it makes LSU better, I’m not concerned at this time.

That’s how Nick Saban viewed it.

This. The NCAA set itself up for this through a combination of inaction, the uneven application of penalties, greed, and hubris.

In my opinion, a governing body is a necessity, but it needs to operate fairly with a balanced approach to the needs, goals, and desires of both the players and member schools while maintaining the integrity of the sport and not alienating fans.

That needs to happen. Whether that should be the NCAA or a new organization, I do not know.

You know the rules. It’s horrible for college and it’s ruining the sport unless it benefits your team.

It gives opportunities to kids who were late developing physically and who have worked hard to prove their abilities. They can level up and play on the highest level. You get a product on the field that includes the best of the best. Everything else be damned, but still, that makes for an entertaining product. The playoffs were great last year.

I feel eventually you'll see a half dozen of the most resourced teams merge with the NFL as part of a deal to 'save' traditional NCAA football.

They have the fanbases, the stadiums...

For years people screeched “pay the players! pay the players!”. Well this is what you get.

Eat the whole meal.
