Every time I think about the 2018 A&M loss...

...I take solace in the fact that every A&M fan would trade it for beating us in 2012.

Much like how every Vikings fan would trade the Minneapolis Miracle for beating the Saints in 2009.

That game was so dumb I honestly barely even cared by the end

I was at a bar in NYC during that game and they kept the bar open because of how long the game went on. That game was painful.

Last year’s loss is a lot worse, honestly. Hurts more and is one of their largest margins of victory.

Maybe the most ridiculous game ever. Would have liked to win, but the result did not matter. Won the next 16 games straight anyway

I'm not even mad about that loss. If anything it showed us just how cringe A&M can be with making the cups to open their 2019 season, engraving the score on the Gator Bowl rings, and hanging that painting in Jimbo's office.

You & your “depressing losses”…

Do you ever talk about winning games?

My favorite thing about the loss is that A&M made such a big deal out of it and it ultimately meant nothing. LSU still went to the same bowl game they would have went to had they won.

The loss last year was way worse.

Agreed, but in the grand scheme wasn't big. We weren't beating UGA anyway.

Plus they would trade it for beating us in 2012. They would trade every win over us for winning in 2012.

Was at Clicks in Baton Rouge shooting pool with a buddy while nursing a beer in the 4th thinking the game was over... boy was I wrong...

We didn't shoot another ball from the end of the fourth through all 7 billion evertimes. What we did do was stress and anger drink for a few hours. By the time it was over I was not good to drive. Put my keys in the gas cover and took a 2 hour nap in my truck. Woke up went to taco bell across the interstate to destroy 2 meal boxes. Sat around in their parking lot for another hour and went home... pissed off the whole time.

We won that game on 3 separate occasions...

Wow. I have no idea what I did. Probably went to bed and banged my wife before reading a little and falling to sleep.

I was actually in College Station for the game but fortunately didn't get tickets. I was standing for the entire game at a bar and by the 5th OT, I didn't even care who won at that point and just wanted the game to end

Last year’s loss

Agree with the poster who said it made no difference to our season.

And it potentially creates a very teachable moment. Something BK can use to motivate and educate

We were at BTR downtown, and they were giving away free shots for TDs. It was a long night. A&M needed at least 6 50/50 calls all to go their way to win that game.

We didn't lose. Apparently, rules say if there's under a second left when the ball is spiked, the game is over.

Thus, the game was over, and we won. 2020 wasn't a real season. So basically, 4&8 finally won, in a fluke of a game, in 2022 against us for the first time since joining the SEC.

Didn’t they make rings for it?

Not even close though the largest since they have been in the SEC by 2 whole points from the 2020 team. That 2020 loss was worse than 2022 IMO.
