Even if Nuss astronomically outperforms Daniels

Absolutely nothing would change, Daniels will still be the starter. Barring an injury, regardless of performance, Kelly is too Milesesque stubborn to ever sit his guy this year.

Even with Daniels starting though, I at least hope Kelly gets Nuss some meaningful reps and experience in games that matter for his preparation next season - Kelly's heralded year 3 that he claims will be the target year to contend for a championship.

If you're going to be a top contender next year, it sure as hell wouldn't hurt having a QB with a little SEC experience under his belt to lead that team.

Haven’t we tried and learned our lesson at least a half dozen time here?

So, you're standing your ground on an emotional decision without any consideration you might be wrong at the same time criticizing a hall of fame coach making $100 million dollars with his own career on the line of doing the same thing.

Sound stratgey.

Kelly is stubborn and knows he’s got a few more years before the expectations really set in. He’s playing JD because he doesn’t want a true passer back there.

There is plenty of evidence to the contrary, but sure, live in this lie youve built

Definition of a "stubbborn" coach:

One who doesn't do what a fan boy, who has had absolutely zero meaningful football experience, wants.

Dear god the stupidity on this board just keeps growing. The guy is about to be starting his THIRD true freshman Tackle in two years. Yet you think otherwise about him.

Y’all always say that but he never does, if he’s better I want him to play but coaches say different (although their credibility for talent evaluation is on the fence for me)

uh-hum. see jimbo fisher, please. and a myriad of other coaches. we're talking about human beings, and yes, they get a lot of things wrong. the guys who overcome admit their failings and compensate.

and i'm sick of the narrative that none of our eyes and brains can work well enough to spot it. that's a lot of B.S.
