I wish we could ban any usage of the moron Guilbeau...he's useless and has zero inside scoop.
Also, he has such a punchable face.. I'd like to shove a large roast beef Po-Boy, dressed of course, in his face.

I seriously don’t understand why this is such a big deal. A couple guys that are within the age range of the 5 for 5 rules and haven’t played a season of pro sports. Doesn’t sound controversial to me at all.
Are they really just that scared of setting any precedent at all?

1. It's bullshite they and the media keep calling them "nfl players" when not a single one of them has made the 53 man roster yet
2. If you came to me and said you were an NFL pro because you spent 3 weeks at training camp, I'd laugh. It's a much less serious stolen valor
3. NCAA is doing it on purpose to force Congress to act and in turn, give the NCAA governing power by law so they can be bitches full time with actual enforcement

The judges haven't been playing along with this outdated amateur versus pro farce in their rulings
They know the distinction is an outdated joke based on the money involved
Thus they rule to not restrict player earnings wherever that may be

What choice Sankey have? He works directly for the 16 schools thst make up the conference. All 16 of those schools voted not to allow the named classification of professional players to return to college athletics. Sankey hss no choice, but to enforce the mandate of the conference. Failure to do so would probably get him fired.

Precedent? What about the hundreds of professional basketball players from Europe who have been players here? CKM's last 2 signees are from Spain & Russia.
