Oh bullshite. They led Sports Center with SVP talking about the game. I swear some of you must have paper thin skin.
Now, let me ask you a question. Which team will result in ESPN having higher ratings for the MCWS? LSU v CC or Arkansas v CC?
LSU all day. When the ratings come out for this MCWS, the games that LSU played in will be the highest rated.
You can bet your arse they want LSU in that final.

By no means do I believe the world is against us but the narrative being spun by all the media people I’ve watched so far is more about Arky losing than LSU winning. What you are saying is exactly right, though. We screwed up almost as badly to even give them a chance. Even in the winners bracket we had to go into this game without our 3rd best guy because of a stupid weather delay. We were 3-1 vs arky heading into this game.
LSU deserves to be in the finals way way more than Arkansas does.

Everyone is naturally going to talk about the Hogs choking, because the game ended that way, but they quickly forgot the way LSU bungled the 8th inning, and Brown slipping in the 7th, which cost us an easy run that would have otherwise crossed. both teams played some ugly baseball toward the end, and we just managed to do a little more with their mistakes.

I drove from the SE part of the state to the LC area and listened to old school broadcast radio until the bottom of the second inning. The announcers were obviously not LSU fans. It was odd, but sucks to be them.

What do expect? For broadcast Arky v Coastal was a better story line. Arky looking for their first CWS ring after knocking of Goliath who happens to be a conference rival and Will the streak continue for Coastal.
They probably already had stories ready to go.
