This is calling out the hire not analyzing.

Hiring Steve really has divided an already divided fan base. We basically still have most of Les Miles’s coaches minus Les.
You’re right, there is a lot of division among the fanbase. I’m not included in that, as I just want them to do well and be entertaining. It’s just a game to me and my first priority is entertainment. It’s not real life. Unfortunately, the offense hasn’t provided much entertainment for the last decade with a couple exceptions.

I said the same thing last night but people are blinded by being 4-0.
It’s pretty clear that if something doesn’t change the offense will cost us a game we should otherwise win.
No, people aren’t blinded. They don’t forget things like beating Auburn on the road, a great defense. We had enough offense then.
Did it ever occur to you that imploying a brand new offense with new faces all over, we may develop it slowly and use games like LA Tech to expand it a bit more or focus on certain aspects of it?

Burrow has only been with LSU a few months and a starter for 4 games his entire college career. His development at LSU is yet to be determined.
This. I argued with a "fan" before the game about where Burrow ranked among SEC QBs. My position was that it was far too soon to be ranking him. The other guy was confident he sucks.

Right, no other school in the nation or LSU team has ever had to endure these same problems.

Four games into the season and we have one of the worst offenses in the SEC. Not just a mediocre offense, but one of the worse in the nation.
We never been 4-0 and had a offensive problem, right.

The line needs to get back healthy and not suspended.
But man do we need a game breaking type of rb. Of course Brossette has been a pleasant surprise.
Still salty we didn’t take a chance on Pooka. Perefect compliment back we need with housing abilities. I would immediately be over it if they flip Emery though.
I still don’t know that E is the long term solution. Even when he was good decades ago, he was only good for a couple of seasons (if I vaguely remember correctly) then again great coordinators are only around for a few seasons any ways.. so long term solutions may not really exist.. I would just like to see LSU completely change the offensive culture and then maybe sustain from that.
I do give E huge credit for recruiting this past cycle.

This offense is bad and it looks like QB development is right on track with what we’ve seen for the last decade. I wonder if it will eventually cost O his job or if he will make a move to get a legit OC out of self-preservation. I hope they keep finding ways to win, but a good offense sure would make things easier.
That’s stupid for so many reasons.

It’s both. Identifying the playmakers on the roster and finding ways to get them the ball in space is the job of the OC. I don’t think Ensminger has done a great job of utilizing the offensive weapons by putting them in positions to succeed.

yep and loving it most Negatigers had us at 2-2 right now..
No. No they didn’t. Everyone that hated the Orgeron hire all said we are 10-2 talent team, minimum.
It was all the posiO’s that said 7-5/8-4 and that that should be acceptable because Orgeron needed time to get “his guys in”.

There should be no new OC as long as Orgeron is head coach. His and Ensminger's wagons are permanently hitched together, as they should be, since Coach O said he had his guy all along. He hand-picked Ensminger for the job and never interviewed anyone else as far as we know. They will sink or swim together.

SEC total offense 2018 thus far - dead last
The offense is terrible
Here, let’s play a numbers game:
SEC Total Offense
2018 - last
2017 - 7th
2016 - 10th
2015 - 7th
2014 - 10th
2013 - 7th
So the program replaced Miles due to offensive ineptitude, & has regressed in offensive production since. It’s laughable

Wrong. Yes they did.
And when I would say we have a good team and could have a good season, I believe it was the negatigers who would always say weed loose 5 games because of our schedule.

In what distorted universe do these constitute analysis? At least have enough integrity to admit you're just criticizing.

We are 4-0 and developing an offensive.
We still lack an identity on offense. Didn't Orgeron say that we are transitioning into more of a spread attack? It doesn't really look like that to me.

t really is hard to compensate for being decimated at O line. It changes everything. I know it's hard to comprehend.
that combined with if the dropsies would stop would make all the difference in the world as far as that perception goes. Last night Burrow completed 58% with about 190 yards, with out the 4 drops it's 74% and about 250 yards and it is a totally different perception from these less intelligent posters who think there is a problem. Besides it is the same ones who complain about everything the team does ("frick you") that have this perception whether they really believe it or just like saying negative shite in their quest to try to hurt Orgeron and the program.
Really I wish Chicken would clean up this board of all the fakers who claim to be tiger fans but are really just bitter little pricks
