Endzone seats in Superdome: Vantage Point and thoughts

I have tickets in Sec. 129 Row 22 for the National Championship. I wanted to get peoples opinions of the view from the end zone, especially being underneath the overhang. Have been to the dome many of times but never sat in the end zone. TIA

You won’t be under the overhang. Anything lower three levels far supersedes the two uppers . The two uppers are such a waste of big money. Unfortunately that’s where many will be and I hope they overcome watching between their knees.

That basically where my student seats were in '03, except we were in row 23. It's not the best obviously, but you're in there and it will be a blast.

If under the overhang in endzone it does suck some. Much rather the 500 level sidelines than under that overhang. The picture shows it and it does suck. Whoever said the 500 level sucks is nuts. Only 4-5 rows in the section and great view. I sat in them for the 07 NC vs OSU. This year however I bought the lunatix reservations and got 4 in lower corner at face value.

Every seat in the dome sucks, because of how far you are from the field.

FedEx field is horrendous for that reason

The seats in the lower level have a pretty good view, and have 2 sets of TV's you can see from there.

Best end zone seats are higher level toward the front.
This gives you a really good look at the "all 22" angle and you may be able to see plays before they evolve due to this view.
I've been up there a few times and lower for a few games....higher seats are my preference.

100 level is terrible in the dome. 200, 300, and 500 is the best bang for your buck.

He will be under the overhang. Personally I can't stand being under the overhang but it's not as bad as the one in Tiger Stadium and there are TVs you can watch if you can't see something.

I sat in section 130, row 22 for the Sugar Bowl vs. Notre Dame a while back. I won't sit in plaza endzone again for any game at the dome.

Wow, this is crazy talk. the club/loge levels (300 level) are the best seats in the Dome. And terrace level seats vary like crazy. Relatively low level terrace seats (say, 10 rows) are good to excellent if sideline). The terrace is enormous and varies wildly.
