The Alumni Association contacted me asking me for my credit card info to pay for the Kentucky trip this week. I have been traveling with these guys for 10 years and always paid. The trip is not until October and I told them I want to see how all the SEC schools react for their first home games before I put stuff on my card. They told me I have until monday to confirm. I take that as a huge red flag on what they know is coming.

On the stubhub, We bought our tickets for the Kentucky game and Bengals game last week. Too cheap to pass up.

They better not frick with our plan. That weekend should be amazing if our LSU Tigers and our LSU(Bengals) Tigers are healthy.

They are definitely considering proof of vaccine or Covid negative test for entrance. Hopefully it doesn't come to that

I don’t mind if they require the vaccination card. I just got mine for $100.

Actual attendance (not paid) wouldn't be over 80,000 for a single game all year.

They can dig their own grave.

What made you factor in the extra 5,000?

I don't think it'll near that high... got people in NOLA right now and they're amazed how many people are fully vaxxed and still protesting going out down there. I'd imagine the LSU fan base would be more fervent about that.

Fwiw I would have no problem getting in but don't know if I would.... I been waiting for a FULL STADIUM to drive down.... I think if they institute this they're lucky to get 50% for the opener

Makes no sense to require the students to have it, but then allow 100,000 to come on to campus without any proof of vaccination.

Students will be in a classroom, often small and sometimes crowded, not outdoors in a stadium. You and I can go in campus without proof of vaccination right now.

I will clue you in, this policy would have to be enforced. who would enforce it? those discussions would take place before the plan would be announced.

so the enforcement organizations would be briefed on what the plan is and they would have to have policies and procedures rolled out to their personnel

those enforcement organizations are filled with people that know what a precarious situation they would be in trying to enforce this policy with thousands of people literally at the gates

admin, staff, ticket agents, marshals, security, first responders, etc would all be in the discussions, the potential for leaks are endless

I think the saints backtracking on refunds has given lsu higher ups reason to pause

Once that FDA approval drops for Pfizer don’t be surprised if LSU mandates vaccination for attendance, which it should.
