I assumed with the Super Dome going batshit, they would at least make a statement for/or against restrictions soon.
What’s the old saying about assumptions?

Nothing is coming you Karens. Numbers are on the decline and no restrictions have been put in place. They aren’t coming
You have been claiming this "decline" for a month now. I guess it will eventually be true, but it certainly isn't now.

With all the Ri or whatever talk I was hoping we would be well on our way down just in time for Labor Day.

Why make an announcement 3 weeks in advance if you don’t have to?

This. I dont understand the obsession with having to know now. Just be happy that there is none in place yet. I think LSU is playing this right. If we have learned anything from covid is that the numbers and date are constantly changing. From what I have seen we have been spiking for a couple weeks now. Id imagine we are starting to hit a downward trend on cases and hospitalizations. Thats what the pattern has been for the past year. By kickoff against Mcnesse things will look a lot better and we probably will not have any restrictions. Hopefully at least

Don’t know what rock you’re living under but there are a significant number of fully vaccinated people out there that have Covid and are contagious, fever, cough etc. Tiger stadium chocked full of fully vaccinated people does nothing to stop the spread of Covid. I personally know several people that were vaccinated with significant symptoms.

I think we are in the clear. Why would there be any restrictions when covid is on the way out in Louisiana now?

There is absolutely nothing that supports this statement.

Other than wish casting.

Cases and hospitalizations are past the peak and are on a steady decline in Louisiana. This will be back to a nothing burger flatline curve by the time we reach the home opener

Hospitalizations dropped "slightly" 2 days in a row after a record setting week. Not out of the wood yet in the slightest.

Still easy for them to lose my business after all these years

I literally just got off the phone with my dad about the fluidity of my plans for the season. We just ruled out a Saints game/NOLA Sunday trip after the LSU game Saturday because of the madness going down there. Let’s see just how much these public officials hate money. I’m completely fine playing a round Saturday morning and sitting on my couch watching at home with a drink in the evening.

I think it was more likly at the beginning of the week that it is now. Since this was discussed earlier this week:
-the Saints we strong armed into providing refunds
-Funding for NOLA projects was postponed which most believe to be a direct results of NOLA's vax mandate
-Articles are coming out about the devastating effects the vaxx mandate has had on tourism/service in just 1 week.

Could be wrong....but I think there's alot going on in NOLA that would give LSU pause about following their lead

These morons in charge don't understand that there are thousands and thousands of VACCINATED people that will not set foot in any establishment that requires proof of anything.

Of course it's going to kill tourism in New Orleans.

And both Thursday and Friday's hospitalizations were negative statewide. The decline has already started.
