Yet it happened. Coach O had the foresight to recruit BDJ and to hire Joe Brady. All part of it.

Not shocked, but definitely impressed. I believed it was within his abilities, but didn't necessarily see it coming, much less this soon.

We believe in him now, but if Tigers come back out strong next season the haters who are clinging to the "Chizik" nonsense will have to move the goal post again and find new material. It'll be glorious.

I don’t see what’s nonsensical about mentioning Chizik. Many coaches have won championships, yet failed thereafter. I don’t think that’ll happen to O, but it’s not unfair to bring up the issue.

But remember, Gene Chizik won it all with Cam and Gus.

Difference being, is Auburn and Chizik is nowhere in the conversation for the Greatest Team in College Football History. Now I don't expect to see another offensive explosion like 2019 in my lifetime, but I have faith in Coach O that he will maintain the standard of excellence that has been established going forward.

I probably could've worded that better. I was thinking of the SEC Rant trope in which other fans are hoping CEO follows a Chizik trajectory and claiming it is inevitable.

He has worked his entire life to get to this level of success, learning as he went. With many doubting him, he rose above it all and took them farther than any of us dared dream. I hope he enjoys every minute of this success and I pray for him and his family that everything turns out for the best for them all. I’m really pulling for them and we are blessed to have them!

best thing ever is we never have to worry about him or steve e taking another job. Now if you would have told me that before last season i might have not believed it was a good thing

Remember when most of the fans were mad that O was hired as head coach? Pepperidge Farms remembers....

I doubt that anyone was more pissed off than I was. I thought he would run the program into the ground and set us back a few years. I've never been more happy to be so wrong in my life. It's refreshing to see a coach address needs and love how he changed his approach in 2019. I couldn't be more proud that he's the coach at LSU. Orgeron is an easy coach to like and root for.

Finally, kicking Bama's asses was great enough for me, but winning the ship was gravy. I just wish that the defense had played better in that game like they did towards the end of the season. They had Bama down like 35 - 13 or something like that at the half and let them come storming back. But as long as they won that's all that counts!

I really think our defense thru most of the season actually got joe burrow the heisman. had they been dominant burrow probably wouldnt have played in the second half for most of the season. double edge sword burrow got the heisman but brennan didnt get many reps for upcoming season.

I miss all the haters/non believers. Their ignorance made me feel better about myself.I also miss all the threads about how I was wrong about Ed

Your obsession with me is odd. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not a homosexual, so don't get your hopes up. I'm still flattered, nonetheless.

For Christ's sake. People like you and Pat are pathetic. Do you have anything else going on in your lives?
