He’s hand picking quotes, leaving out the context and twisting their meaning. Someone asked him an honest question and he went into full meltdown mode because he doesn’t know anything about football and can’t explain any position he takes on the subject.

Coach O says things that makes himself look bad and gives ammo to his distractors
Example
Last year he said- Our defense is better than last years
This year has has said Max reminds him of a young Burrow.

I don't think this board hates coach O. They just wanted him to hire better coordinators (Bo Pelini ). Time will tell.

While I agree to a point, when Ree comes in, basically into any thread, an acts like the goof he is and derails every thread he enters with such vitriol and hateful comments, with nothing to back it up, even when reasonable points are posted for him to think about, he still acts like the horrible poster he is. He's like, "my opinion is the right one" and if anyone dare, remotely, have a differing opinion, they're all losers and morons and so forth even though he can't remember who he's even made a comment to. He flips out and melts and throws around all sorts of insults but he refuses, flat out refuses, to admit, even acknowledge, the reasonable points presented to him.
That's why this thread has gone on as long as it has. To be fair, others have kept it going on as well but Ree is the only one continuing to act like he's insane, almost on a fanatic level. Look at his comments in it. Self explanatory.

He will not address any loses at all. If you ask him what happened to the defense last season, we lost a lot of players but we still have a most of those players on the current roster. So, what was different? This is what I mean. Pelini couldn't have been the problem with the defense, right? He was only the DC. So if he's not responsible for how the defense plays, who is?
This is what I mean. At all costs, defend O. I like O. It's a contingent of a bunch of coaches to make it work right. Last year, it didn't work as well as we had hoped. Like it or not, that's on O for his hires. It's on him to get the hires right, like he did with Brady. I think these hires with Peetz and Jones are better but there's no way to know until we get to a game. That's all I'm or anyone else is trying to say but Ree flips out and goes back to 2019. Yes. O deserves credit for that, no question. But what about last season?
It's no wonder no one takes him seriously. The rant is crazy enough. This place was a lot better when he didn't post.
He'll reply to this and call me all sorts of names and I'm a hater and blah blah. He can't help it.
It's a waste of time replying to him.

Many fans were disappointed because O mailed it in last year. After the championship season O believed his press clippings and posted selfies of he and his woman in bed. Yes, his personal life is his business but the photos were poor taste.
More to the point, he should have brought in young coaches as replacements instead of old geezers. Worst, imo, is that he watched the games last year and did not appear to take any steps to change the defense.

Poor O. When the administration just lets him do whatever he wants, we get an undefeated season and a Heisman winner. However, the administration just can't let things alone and force bad things on him that he has nothing to do with.

I, for one, would miss Ree if he got banned.

You largely answered your original question: He is a buffoon that should never have been given this type of job. He has made one lucky hire that led to the 2019 offensive explosion, but every other hire has been awful.
His platform would be that he would hire the best coordinators and let them do their jobs- he hired Canada and immediately micro-managed him and it went south fast. The Pellini hire was moronic in every way. Now, we have a staff that has ZERO members that have been a D1-coordinator.

Bo was great coach but he tried to change too much in one season ,So now we have to start over again because of our jerky fan base ,I wish Bo was still here and O haters had a feather up their Butt !

I wonder if O is suited for being a HC at a big place like LSU. I have serious reservations.
