Peetz gets his share of the blame.

However, the biggest problem at LSU are the players on the field.

LOL no dude, not running the ball once from about 4 min left in the 3rd until the last drive was how this game was lost.

His team lost to a very, very average Auburn group and a quarterback who was benched the previous week.

So he says LSU just doesn’t have the players, but then goes on to say LSU lost to a team of worse players.

This doesn’t even make sense

Piss on Ed Daniels. He served up the planted question today “why do you keep saying you’re responsible?”, and who does he think is responsible for getting the talent to campus?

In fairness our O line is a black hole. Point out one player, any one, that would start at any other SEC school, besides Vandy.

Let’s fix the problem by hiring coaches that can identify talent, plan on what talent we need, sign that talent, cosch ‘rm up and then put them in a position to win.

The staff we have isn’t doing that.

The problem starts at the top, but we think too much of our talent. Our offensive line talent sucks, down to a man. Our center gets manhandled every other play. Watch Carter T’s film study. This is the worst LB core we’ve had in years. Max is not very good- backup quality at best.

If, as Daniels says, we don't have the players, whose fault is that? I'm not necessarily arguing with him in respect to the offensive line, but whose job is it to make sure our O-Line is sufficient and proficient?

Doesn't that responsibility fall on the shoulders of one Edward James Orgeron, Jr?

So how, or why, are you blaming the players, when the head coach put these young men in that position? If Ed Orgeron were to recruit my 61 year old fat arse, and put me into a game, is it my fault that a 21 year old, in his prime, defensive player would embarrass me? Or is it the fault of the coach who (1)recruited me, and (2)failed to instruct me on how to get the most out of my admittedly limited skills?

Bottom line: find another scapegoat. Or, point your finger at the real culprit. At this point, either choice will fall directly on Orgeron.

Many would argue that the defense's inability to wrap up Bo Nix would be the reason we lost this game or the 2 dropped TDs by Smith. Just a thought.

O had been at LSU for over five years now, He should know our talent better than anyone.

In 2020 he knew we had no center. We brought in the guy from Harvard. He didn’t work out.
Going into 2022 O knew what we had. No one was brought in. No one from JC or the portal was brought in to help. Why?
We only signed two HS OL recruits. Again why just 2?

I think we have the wrong cowboy bringing in the horses.

Would only be a valid argument if Orgeron was having to make do with a previous coach’s recruits

LSU’s defense had little-to-nothing to do with losing to Auburn

That loss was 100% on Peetz and the offense

It starts and ends with the coaching staff. If the players are not "horses" it is the coaches' fault. Period.

This. Also add in the fact that when Kiner is in the game he actually has made several positive plays on running downs and given us a semblance of a running game. Only to be benched and hardly ever used. Honest to God don't see how the coaches can continue to trot Williams and tdp out there after what kiner had done. It's baffling.
