Bugg will def be seeing the field all I remember was the praise he was getting during the spring scrimmages of how he just fills the hole and hits like a truck. We were missing that last year with our linebackers waiting for the play to come to them instead of attacking and delivering the hit. I have a lot of confidence in Blake Baker to fix that

Switch Emery and Davis-Price

Also, when did we get so young at WR?

run down LB's are not all that valuable. Im not saying he wont play. LSU has a clear top 3 at LB, though. And he isnt one of them.

One covid year removed from the award as the best OL in the country on the greatest Offense in College Football history.
Let's just be honest here. They won the award, but by no means were they the best OL that year. Joe and Clyde made them look much better than what they were.

they didn't even see Bugg Strong play in person when they offered him.

Not defending Strong, because I don't know much about him, but this was the norm last year.

There are players that signed with major colleges that the coaches had never met or seen in person.

After some of the worst pass defense in team history for 3/4 of last season, it feels really weird to think that this year we might have the most talented group of cornerbacks in team history.

For 3/4 of last year we were without a lot of our DB starters especially at CB. Covid and injuries

of course.

But even so, history isn't on his side being a JUCO. Generally used for depth purposes. The LB corp returns 2 starters from last year and adds Mike Jones from Clemson, who might be the best of the bunch.

I know they praised Strong coming in, but then i heard an interview (i think it was O) saying they had to work him back into shape. IDK. Im betting on the other guys

Huge difference between this Nicholls transfer and the last one. Darren Evans was a desperate grad transfer pull to get depth. Evans was a senior who was a second team all-Southland player.

Cage was a FCS Freshman All-American, and had 11 Tackles for loss in 7 games in the 2021 Spring FCS season. He has a great shot at being the next 3* breakout player if he can work his way up the depth chart at Nickle.

I wonder when Sampah will break through? 5 star no. 1 LB in his class, and Clark has been underwhelming

How many made starting line in NFL last season?
How many would have started/played if not for injury?
