You should not be a starter just because you’re a senior....put the best eleven guys on the field

once you subtract out true freshman and players that got listed twice, the OL depth is very thin.

I really hope Kardell Thomas has been grinding and we can start to see him pay off. I was so excited when we got him.

I think Stingleys dad all but said he won't be PR this year. If they dont trust Palmer there, I'd guess Sage or Goodwin takes that role.
I'm good with either of those guys if it comes to that. Time for Palmer and especially Emery to do what they do consistently.

Troll much?
One covid year removed from the award as the best OL in the country on the greatest Offense in College Football history.

Anybody else notice what a great overall thread this is? Opinions, disagreements, only one or two trolls. Great stuff!

Agreed. Thinking back though, Logan was better than average SEC DL at one point. If he's dropped about 20/30 lbs. along with normal weight room work---and a coach on his arse---hopefully he'll be back to that level.
Really interested to see if Guillory fits into the rotation. Course, I'm looking for Maason to take a step up from becoming the second Reggie White to being the 1st Maason Smith!
Not asking for much from a guy who hasn't seen the field yet, huh!

If you still think Brennan is going to start you haven’t been paying attention at all

I think Max is the guy. That doesn’t mean the coaches won’t play both. I could see Mile’s getting the start, and max coming in. If the players show a change in emotion and play for him a notch higher he’s the guy.

4 ots?

I can see 3.

Tight end is so thin. Next year jake johnson will take over.

Yea Ward is the starting Free Safety right now. Toles had a great spring and was the leader for the Strong Safety spot going into the summer.

Fired up about Bugg Strong. What a name for a hard hitting linebacker.

I’ll raise that and say he’ll be an All-SEC linebacker if Lester is saying this

If Clark and Baskerville are the starters....then they better have improved a lot

they didn't even see Bugg Strong play in person when they offered him.

Came to LSU out of shape. I think even Jared Small was ahead of him.

So he'd better have done a lot of improving himself.

Yeah Max has separated himself from Myles Brennan both in the locker room and on the field, per the insiders who are getting the information via conversations with the players.
