My God.

It's well known Jesus can't throw a good curveball, let alone hit one.

He's having a pretty solid spring:

.286 avg
.444 OB
2 doubles
1 HR
2 SB

I'm sure he won't make the opening day roster, but he will be knocking on the door soon.

Crews' OPS is up to 1.163, only Wood's is higher.

The two biggest things working against Crews are...

1. The Nats' outfield is a little crowded with young, promising talent (Thomas, Robles, Garrett, Young, Woods, Hassell).

2. The organization is nowhere near ready to contend for the playoffs, so they are in absolutely no rush to move him up.

The future in the OF is Wood and Crews, maybe Hassell. Thomas is good but probably a 4th OF on a contender. Robles is what he is and I've basically given up on him.

The future is really Crews, Abrams, House, and Wood to build around imo.
