Battered women very often do that...retract their allegations. In fact battered women very often go back, repeatably, to their abusive bf or husband. It difficult for folks to understand the panic, and helplessness, that grips a woman in an abusive relationship.

Well, she had some pretty serious injuries. Can't we just check the hospital/doctor reports. If she made this stuff up, she needs to be arrested and go to jail for a bit.
