Crews is finally putting it all together. Over his last 12 games—including that massive 3-for-4 night against Philly tonight—he’s been completely electric. He’s hitting for average, showing real power, and causing chaos on the basepaths.

Check out the numbers from this 12-game stretch:

Slash Line: .319 / .373 / .532
Hits: 15-for-47
Runs: 11
RBIs: 7
SB: 2

The Power Breakdown:HR: 2
2B: 4
Total XBH: 6

Nearly half of his hits right now are going for extra bases. If I go back one or two more games he adds another bomb but his average dips below .300.

Hopefully this is the start of a long, successful career!

I was just saying I've seen him on ESPN Top plays twice the last month or so with diving catches. Were those in the minors or was he already called up?

Crews still has fewer than 600 PAs, which isn’t even a full seasons worth, and most of those early ones came while the Nats were trying to change his entire approach at the plate. That’s a tough way to start your career.

Consistent PAs and a return to his previous approach seems to be working.
