I officially have declared LSU baseball for 2021 is a lost cause, given the injury to Travinski

Left off 2019 Auburn who may be the most recent, realistic, and optimistic comparison possible.
They were 14-16 in conference play, went 1-2 in the SECt, had an RPI in the 20s, got a 2 seed in the Atlanta regional with #3 national seed Georgia Tech. They got hot and beat GT in regional and North Carolina in super regional to make it all the way to Omaha.
We have a way better overall record than that Auburn team had, but very similar resume. With LSUs weak conf strength of schedule remaining it is possible we go 7-2 and finish 14-16 in conference. Now let’s see if we can sweep lowly Auburn.

Don't disagree. Somebody has to step up. But that's almost always the case.
And it should be mentioned that if for no other reason than the 'law of averages' CPM has to stop by making so many boneheaded personnel decisions.
He wasn't introduced to baseball in January and actually has a great record but he doesn't "know" this team. Someone needs to let him know there's a baseball season going on.
