Does your interest in college football as a whole soar when LSU is good?

Mine certainly does. I know the transitive property doesn’t mean much, but I’m curious to see how Clemson, Troy, and Louisiana Tech perform tomorrow. I’m interested in the Ole Miss/Arkansas and SC/Vandy games to gauge how good those teams are for future games. When LSU is out of the playoff picture, I’m just kind of meh about other games.

i love the sport and always “watch” other games.

but when LSU is in the running for something i have a deeper vested interest in games that affect LSU (common opponents, teams above us in rankings, etc.)

Yes. Losing week 1 always made the season suck to start off

So refreshing

I'm obviously more interested, but college ball is unequivocally a better sport than NFL. I love the history, culture, rivalries, and pageantry regardless.

Of course.
All aspects of life are much better when LSU is winning.

I get more hyper interested in our opponents for the week.

Absolutely. When we're winning I'm reading articles and watching games like a man possessed about LSU and other schools on our schedule and/or potential rankings roadblocks. When we're losing I'll casually watch the games on Saturday and have fun trying to guess which bowl game we will get.

Double post. My apologies to reply number 19 who would have been on page 1.

Love the sport. Realized the older I got that I am more of an LSU fan than a football fan. Sad but true.

When LSU is playing well, I pay attention to the talking heads more. Not sure why. When they are on an off year, I tend to watch the game and go about my day.

Yes. Same for pro when the Saints don’t stink.
