I could be looking to much into it but I would think you would bring your OC if you go in home with your biggest offensive recruit!

IMO, it's possible that Emery was told who the new OC is going to be and that's why he committed. We'll see.

That's not how recruiting works. They have assigned regions. Sometimes the actual position coach or coordinator goes to see specific recruits but not always. He would meet with the offensive staff when he comes to LSU for his official or unofficial visit.

My opinion has always been that SE was holding the place open for someone to come in in a year or two.
No facts, but why would he take a full time position he has never wanted unless he knew it was not for the long term.
I see SE still in a smaller role again.
