I know it was very suspect whether they were in without a win, given the amount of SEC teams in, and SEC teams having the same record as LSU.

Does 1 win in the Tourney over a team with UGA's RPI send them over the top?

Or do they need another win or two in the tourney?

We were in had we lost this. This just cinches it tighter.

It would have been tough without this win, but I feel pretty good that we're in now.

Wonder what RPI will be after this win.

I think they were getting G in either way, but I think this seals it.

I'd say that makes us a no doubter. 4 series wins out of 5 to end the season, now at 14 SEC wins. Beat a much improved UGA team with the best hitter in baseball currently. Chance to play a minimum of 2 more games and maybe win some more. Some other bubble teams losing. We in.

I mean every win helps but the consensus was that LSU mainly needed this win vs UGA to get in for sure. It would also really help if Alabama or Vandy would lose today. or Florida.

We just beat a team that was projected a National Seed prior to this game.

This seals it.

I'll be much more comfortable if we win at least 1 more.

IMO, absolutely.

This effectively makes us the #9 SEC team.

Anyone who watched this game is voting LSU in. They showed off big time this morning. Great pitching and defense. And scoring 9 runs on a very good team. Everyone wants to watch Jump pitch again and see Tommy Tanks bat. They look very hard to beat by anybody.
