Matt Flynn had the most to me.

The fan base is content due to the natty.

In 07 we returned what was preseason #2, his predecessor was the #1 overall pick and we were expected to win every game.

Brandon Harris in 16 was probably the 2nd most imo.

prior to getting booted. Perrilloux

defending national champs and damn near every single fan thinking he was better than the guy he was replacing.

All he's gotta do is follow Joe Burrow's example of how to focus. Worrying about ANYTHING else is a total waste of time and energy

Nope, actually the opposite IMO.

Just go out there and do your best. No one is expecting him to be Burrow.

No because nobody is expecting him to even come close to burrow's production

That’s accurate...in February. But fair or not if you don’t think come Sept. LSU’s won’t be comparing every throw Brennan makes to Burrow then you don’t know many LSU fans. Without fail, the first loss, hell, the first close win will be the apocalypse with countless fans calling for the backup (whoever that may be).

You would hope LSU fans will have perspective. Here’s a newsflash.....they won’t

No, Brennan will be fine. He has a great arm. I think he'll be really productive. If he is only half as productive as Burrow he'll be the second best QB all-time at LSU stats-wise.

I'm hoping he's the next Mike Miley - great QB following a great QB (Bert Jones).

Nope. We know he won't be as good as Burrow.

You understand Brennan is almost 100% certainly not reading this message board right?
