If it turns out LSU handily beats ole miss does Lane “run it up” a tad on them? My guess is yes but not embarrassingly.

Lane isn’t kneeling if it’s 52-3.

If he doesn't, I will be sorely disappointed.

The only SEC team I hate more than Ole Miss is Bama.

Funny thing, Les only kneeled it because Mett ran his own number the previous play trying to score.

It's personal for Lane on many different levels, not letting him coach in the CFP, players talking shite about him after he left

There's a lot more history with Ole Miss than with Florida.

I'd love to see them run it up if the opportunity is there, but I'd prefer not risking any starters getting hurt too.

That is the most humiliating thing I have ever seen in college football, maybe in all of sports. Taking a knee, with five minutes left in the game, at their home stadium.

It will be like the Tampa Bay/ Oakland Raiders Super Bowl, when Gruden went in dry on his old team.

Kiffin knows that team better than Golding does. He knows where the weak spots are and will know how to exploit them.

I don't see it as running it up. You play to your standard and the score is what it is. If your players execute and the result is a 41 point win, that's a by product of meeting and exceeding position and team-specific goals and not a "we want a decisive win" goal, per se.

These aren't scholar athletes who are "kids" anymore; you draw NIL funds, you're a man, and that means it's up to you to stop the other team.

It’s a generational hate. I enjoy going to Oxford, but their fanbase is one of the most pretentious group of people that has ever walked this earth. They look down on people as if growing up in the MS Delta and then heading up to Oxford is some big city living. They carry themselves as if though they’re God. No amount of money can buy class even though they truly believe they have all of it with their rented chandelier pop up tents and cold chicken fingers in a tree lined parking lot.

Goodness. Do you think all this anti-Kiffin SEC bullshite arose on its own. Ole Miss (along w/ Tennessee) is desperate for a killshot.

It would be a matter of returning the favor in kind.

Of course, if that is the way things shape out in Oxford, the odds of this team having an inside track to the Nat'l Title, and an ensuing Sabanesque dynasty go through the roof.
