Does it bother you when someone says I HATE LSU to your face?

Seriously? Person is a huge ULL fan and has ties. I get that. Really I do. But I had this happen today ... I'm paying someone to help with something and that's what I get told (LSU came up in a totally random kind of way). I've been "told something" the 1 time I've worn an LSU shirt to their place of business. And no I will not name it but it's a professional place. Leave it at that.
I'm the LSU fan that pulls for EVERY INSTATE school unless they're playing LSU. That's just me. I'm the LSU fan that tries to stop other LSU fans from being a-holes to opposing fans, in our stadium OR theirs.
I was I think in shock ... said they had issues with how the money is split/handled/divided/whatever. I was like um, check with Huey Long and the politicians on that ...
How do you respond to crap like this? I was totally disapointed in this person.

no...i'd like to know their reasons. i hate alabama. if someone was offended by that, i'd be delighted to tell them why. but everyone has their own opinion.

Typically I try to refrain myself. But then eventually it gets to a point where I can't anymore. Then I punch the offender in the side of the head and let my buddy clean the guy up for good. Works every time.

Well, I said I only "hate Alabama and Florida when Spurrier was there" ... but to hate in state schools.
eta original post for the main reason he mentioned. He was also involved with athletics at UL (that's as far as I'll go with that too) ... maybe LSU didn't look at him? IDK.

Most ULL fans, that I know, hate LSU. Most of them complain about being tiger baited. Some seem butthurt for no apparent reason. I don't get it and I don't really care.

I have a relative by marriage who is a huge Ole Miss fan and hates LSU. He's entitled to his opinion, but I have a problem with him flaunting it when he's enjoying the hospitality of an LSU family.I wouldn't advertise my Bama hate if I was a guest in a Bama fan's home.
I haven't confronted him yet, but if it continues, I will.

I've never understood this. Do LSU fans harass ULL fans? I don't know of any LSU fans that have a problem with ULL.

I know this is mostly about ULL fans, but I have rarely ever heard anyone around the country say that. I'm proud to say I've turned several people on to LSU football and baseball. They are true sports fans and appreciate excellence!

It makes me laugh because their reason is usually funny. Usually jealousy (ULL), a sense of false self worth (Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss) or just plain stupidity (A&M).

No, what bothers me is the number of born-and-raised Louisianians who wear Alabama gear and cheer for them openly.
