Not a chance.

This leverage foolishness is overblown. You’re either good or you aren’t.
I would say spoken like a casual, but that's fair. You may know something about baseball, the sport, but major league baseball, the business, is not all about being good enough. It's about maximizing your income as a player, and about maximizing value as an organization. It's an adversarial system, which means, as a player, you want the leverage to obtain a higher signing bonus once drafted.
It's most important to the guys who are not at the very top of the draft. Like Milam is likely to be. It is also important for guys who may never see an MLB career. It's the make hay while the sun is shining, idea.

Not knowing things is forgivable…but being really loud about it and you’re gonna catch shite.

NCAA is voting on a 5th year option in the near future that will likely pass. Leverage will still be available
I’d love to have him back!

We are really gonna do this every week until the draft is over, aren’t we?

Depends on NIL vs Minor League Baseball

no chance with Curiel...Milam there is a chance. If he is on the board past the 3rd/4th round he will likely consider CJJ's NIL/rev share offer to return.
There is absolutely no way he will ever get the prestige/fandom he has here at LSU so what else does he have to do other than go play on the backfields in AZ or FL? If the offer is on the table I think he stays...

Picked isn’t the issue

Someone will draft Milam. Defense is an elite and his offense always picks up at the end of the season. the potential is there. he’s a switch hitting infielder.
His value whatever you may think it is, will never be higher than it is this year. Even if he comes back and plays better.
Curiel is interesting because if he goes later than hoped
he can return and still have leverage. but everyone seems to like him. I dont see him falling out the first.

Milan draft position is top 50-100. Let’s say 75. That’s about $1 million sign on bonus and a modest minor league salary.
They know what he can do. He doesn’t have much else to prove. I’m not sure of the reality, but the perception from his face looks like he is very much not wanting to be there. Again that’s just my perception from the looks of it. I don’t know reality.
Curiel likely gone too. He has more upside. I do believe he can improve more than Milam though. He could gain weight and hit more power.

Milam is coming back, has a 700k nil offer and most don’t know but he has a torn labrum that he’s playing through. I get downvoted every time I say this in a post. His roommate is a pitching coach at my son’s travel ball organization.

I think, actually I know, you are GREATLY over-exaggerating how much baseball teams are spending in NIL.

This is not believable in the slightest which is why you keep getting downvoted.
