Does Bradyn Swinson break Key's sack record?

If he keeps it up I think he'll break Key's record of 12 sacks. Thoughts?

He has 0 in the first two and 5 in the last two.
It depends on how well we scheme for him but honestly if I'm a DC, now that Perkins is gone that's my biggest concern facing LSU. I would imagine he's going to start drawing quite a bit of double teams.

5 in 4 games. He probably does, which would be a huge accomplishment. Looking at teams we have left to play. We should be able to get after the QB in all of these:

He honestly might have gotten 10 sacks last year if BK allowed him to play over his ND teachers pet transfer DE Oghoufo. I mean Swinson would come in for a play a quarter last year, sack the QB or nearly force a fumble, and then get benched again for no reason. It was so obvious that he is a difference maker and I think a few things would have been different on our defense last year had Swinson been allowed to play, which pisses me off even more.

Swinson has 5 and Jones has 4. Both are technically on pace to break Key’s record over 13 games.
I don’t think it’s likely that both will actually do it, but I do think they can both get into the top 10 with one possibly breaking Key’s record. 8.5 sacks would put them in a tie for #9, and 9 sacks would put them in a tie for #4.

Perk getting hurt might hurt the chances. Teams were always scheming for Perk. Now that will all go towards him.

BK didn’t even want Ovienplauing at ND. he transfer to texas 2’years before he came to us.
I have no idea why he played as much as he did last year.

He has 5 sacks which puts him tied for 4th in CFB and only a 1/2 sack from tied for 1st.
Teams are going to start scheming against him so we'll see if he can continue to be disruptive at this level. Either way, it's going to open up opportunities for other defenders and for Baker to scheme defensively.

He will need help and that means Womack needs to be out there as another fast pass rushing option.
