I've said for years miles plays favorites now watching Lee play havn't you asked why was jj starting?

i notice none of the miles knights r touching this. i really fell off the miles wagon last yr w/ way he managed the qb situation. its my opinion that ev1 here wuld not b as high on miles if not for the shadys fiasco.

Miles sticks with his starter period. He doesnt change qbs during a season. Lee got the same amount of job protection (not play calling protection...thanks for that one Gary!) that JJ experienced in 09 and 10. Lee is experiencing it now again in 11 with there not being a question that Mett even get real snaps despite having all the tools to be a big time qb (before the leetards jump on me I want Lee to start )

I'm not talking about who plays but who the clear starter is. JJ was obviously the clear starter last year. I didn't necesarily like it or agree with it, but I agree with the wisdom of the overriding principle.

You agreed with keeping a starting qb in there who was having a worse statistical season than our QB in 2008? A qb who had one of the worst qb ratings in college football last year?

Yep, but let's clarify, tubbs did alot with little at auburn and leach didn't get fired for on field performance

Yes he did. But you named coaches that were successful with mediocre coaches and players. Muschamp was Tubby's DC in 2006 and 2007. He left for UT and Tubby got fired in 2008.

He didn't do so well with mediocre coaches and players.

Furthermore, Leach never won anything a TTech. He is currently unemployed and nobody wants to hire the guy.

Auburn had success before 2006 bud, without Muschamp.

FACT....the only way they win the game against Ole Miss in 2008 is with a timeout.
Get your "FACTS" straight, it was 2009.

the refs MUST start the clock again BEFORE they allow the ball to be in play...therefore, with one second, they could spike it, or whatever they wanted...there was simply no way to win at that point.
Funny that Purdue managed to kick a game winning field goal in the EXACT same scenario. YOU ARE WRONG

You are too young to figure that out though.
Apparently you are too stupid.

Here is a list of coaches in the last 10 years who have somehow managed to do what Leslie cannot do: lose fewer than 2 games a year.
If they're not in the SEC, it's irrelevant.

Dude, are you that fricking dense? He hadn't even been there for 2 years. He will get it in gear.

Not if he keeps losing.

Well that's certainly not his fault, he's just the head coach.

Our '08 QB was too busy being an idiot.

Its not like our offense was really the problem that year.

Try actually reading before you post. The list contains FIVE SEC coaches who have done it in the last 10 years (3 went undefeated).

Ok, he did. He also had Al Borges as OC from 2004 to 2007. Tubby got fired in 2008.

And prior to Muschamp Tubby had David Gibbs as DC. Another good coordinator.

The team looks sloppy half of the time and we have lost games because of it. And, this is a direct reflection of Les Miles.

YEAH, leave it up to LSU fans. there is no way in hell the other team can be better than us. Have any of you ever though ab that? They were ready to crown bama last year and they finished 4th in the west. 4th.

Ever think they could be considered good because they coached under Tubbs?

Like Saban, who has tons of "good" coaches under him.

That, along with the fact his teams have a tendency to look sloppy and ill-prepared at times, not to mention the clock management issues that seem to occur every year.

Ok list them all starting from 05 til today.

IMO Chavis > Bopeep.

Now we do have some sick athletes, so give props to chavis for getting the players he wants and turning our d into a machine in a short amount of time.

Funny because hiring Tony Franklin cost Tubs his job. If he had hired say, Malzahn, he would still be at Auburn. If Tubs hired a better offensive coordinator, he probably would not have been fired from Auburn.

Still can't deny he had success there without incredible talent or coaching around him

Are you really this stupid? The clock management issue was the fifty or so seconds they let tick without calling the last timeout or running a play that put them in that position with one second left.

NO NO NO....this board and the media and espn say it was poor clock management on the last play of the game.......that is stupid. NO way they get the play off NO MATTER what they do....leading up, they run some seconds off. I have seen every major coach do that....as for the play.....are you that stupid..it was easily seen and verified that JJ had his arm hit slightly on that play and the pass come up short. They were attempting the endzone.......get a life and get your facts straight.
