yep josh...i'm the moron...you are just the one who continuously rips a guy who is 65-17 in the SEC, with four top10's in six years..and a NC...and in line for another one possibly this year, with a team that could possibly be the best lsu has ever had.........but i'm the moron. BTW, nice prediction of 7-5 last year.......remember...the sky falling, les was leading us to mediocrity, and us old guys just accepted mediocrity. Luckily, most companies do not have young kids running their company...kids who lack wisdom and are prone to knee-jerk reactions with poor critical analytical reasoning skills......fact.

You agreed with keeping a starting qb in there who was having a worse statistical season than our QB in 2008? A qb who had one of the worst qb ratings in college football last year?
So, at what point do you fire him from the starting job? Tennessee? Lee did well when he came in, but except for the Florida game, he wasn't so great or JJ so bad, to justify the move.

s it that hard to comprehend that people would prefer to have arguably the greatest coach in college football coaching us?

I would, but i dont know of a better one that is attainable. So maybe you should support ur team and coach and be a lil more realistic.

What "Leslie" has done is to win more SEC West games since 2005 than any other school in the SEC West, LSU has won as many SEC West titles as any other school in the west in that time, as many NC's as any school in the nation save Fla, be ranked in the Top 5 among BCS schools in wins, have 4 of 6 seasons with at least 11 wins (tops in the SEC), have 4 of 6 seasons NR in the Top 8 (tops in the SEC), and be 29-1 in OOC games (tops in the BCS).

And might I add:

The Tigers have the nation's longest current non-conference winning streak at 34 games and also 31 consecutive non-conference victories at home.

Try actually reading before you post. The list contains FIVE SEC coaches who have done it in the last 10 years (3 went undefeated).
I did, thanks. Why the need to throw up some bullshite list of 30 people if only FIVE matter?

Its not a knock on Miles at all.

Just curious joshy, what will your excuse be WHEN LSU beats saban and his players for the second year in a row this year....and Miles leads LSU to another NC, as well as a winning record against the great one.....if you think about it...how in the hell could this bufoon actually beat the great saban. Certainly they don't have more talent...because bama finishes ahead in recruiting rankings every year...certainly it isn't coaching, because we all know saban is a genius compared to miles.....it just blows my mind......LOL....you are true idiot to stare facts in the face and still argue them....but then, I'll agree, I'm a fool for arguing with one.

When in the history of lsu has this happened? 1958?
We played a pretty shitty game against uf in 03. we did not play a complete season.

Just to show that it happens A LOT. The other BCS conferences may not be as good as SEC but are still good conferences and it happens regularly around the country.

If you want to stick only to the SEC, in the last 9 seasons an SEC team has gone undefeated or had 1 loss SEVEN times. SEVEN. Les Miles has none of those teams. It happens frequently in the SEC, just not to Leslie.

There was this one coach that completely out-coached Saban in 2010.

Huge football game. Gameday on campus. Gig time SEC rivalry.

What was that guys name?

Tell me how many coaches on that list can match that while playing the best college football has to offer on a regular basis?

Since Miles has been our coach Gene Chizik, Nick Saban, and Mark Richt have won just as many SEC Championships. Urban Meyer won one additional.

Since Miles has been our coach Gene Chizik and Nick Saban have won as many National Championships (they've been at their schools a shorter period of time than Miles). Urban Meyer has won one additional.

So, since Miles has been at LSU, 2 coaches accomplished the same in less time (Saban, Chizik), 1 coach accomplished more in the same time (Meyer), and 1 accomplished 1/2 as much in more time (Richt). In fact, Richt got his team to the SECCG 3 times in 4 years.

Miles hasn't had the most success of any coach in the SEC since his time here. He has been able to continue the success that Saban had at LSU. He has yet to have a better record than Saban has had at LSU. And, since his time at LSU, Chizik, Saban, Meyer have had better seasons. Mark Richt has equaled the best record that Miles has ever had.

if he is able to do that he will get credit, but he'll actually have to break his trend of losing less than 2 games

You act like LSU is the only team in the country that has struggled to win games or that lost games they shouldnt have.

No. I understand that. I just don't think we should excuse Miles' biggest boneheaded moments just because some other knucklehead lost a game too. Most coaches learn from mistakes. Miles' teams have made the same ones the last 6 years.

Go back and look at the stats. Lee won the starting job on the field last year and Les refused to give it to him. Bottomline.

Well, I'm 41 and own a pretty successful pipeline services company and I think you're an incoherent idiot who is unable to recognize and discuss the pros and cons of Miles tenure in anything resembling an adult manner.

Josh...I don't think there are many reasonable posters on this board who don't think you are an idiot. That was your prediciton...you were right in line with nuts4lsu....you have been a miles basher all along, and a saban cock sucker.....you just called him the greatest coach in history on this thread.....and yet when les beats him again this year, he will have a better record head to head....what can be your excuse there? Alabama was 4th in the west last year, after being preseason #1.....?????? Alabama was humiliated by Utah in 2008.......?????? alabama was terrible in 2007 losing to frickin ULM....???? Saban had a good year in 2009.....Auburn was shite, Arkansas was shite, LSU was mediocre or in a "down year" as y'all say........I fail to see the genius. Miles beats him this year in bama....wins another title....you will still give saban the props...it's who you are.....you have no wisdom yet.
