Just an honest question. Do any of you, as LSU fans, appreciate Ben Simmons for what he did during his time at LSU and do any of you actually like and/or appreciate him?

I have no like or dislike for Ben. I think he didn’t give his all while here and has done exactly the same in the NBA.

I don't dislike him or like him. He was always a one and done player. I'm honestly indifferent.

ETA: I do think fans are a bit revisionist about his play at LSU and that team overall.

It's hard for me to say he didn't give a complete shite while leading your team in points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and mpg

He doesn't claim LSU, why should LSU claim him?

He catches more shite than he deserves from LSU fans. Dude averaged 20 and 12, it wasn't like he just ran up the court for exercise. He just didn't live up the hype and the team fell apart, coaching being a big factor why. So he didn't take over when he was here. Pretty clear that isn't just a LSU issue. We missed out on a shitty NIT game that nobody wants to see. Big whoop.

I'm indifferent on him. His time at LSU finished rough, but I firmly believe in this day in age he would have never touched a college floor with the way he had to even a few years ago.

Guessing his parents do? I don't really ever think of him actually.

The only LSU athlete, I genuinely do not like… Can’t think of anybody that comes close to my level of disdain for him

I don't care what anyone says, THIS was freaking hilarious and part of me will always like Simmons because of it.

Do not like or appreciate him

Also do not not-like or not-appreciate him.

He’s kind of like nothing

I dislike him quite a bit.
When he was here I posted about his attitude. He was a genuine cancer on the team.
He infected every player with a dgaf attitude and it led to embarrassing results.
His pro career is a reflection of his attitude. Capable, but no chest.

I like that he will always be credited as an LSU player as the #1 overall pick. That plus all of his other accolades will always be a good thing for LSU basketball. It seems like he will be an above average player and potentially have a long NBA career.

I do not like his petulant attitude, his apparent lack of maximizing his talent and how he has responded to general life challenges.

Anyway you slice it, he is one of us, good and bad.

Weird to like or dislike any player really, unless you are middle school age or below or know the player personally.
