The buyout is over Several years. If we don’t fire him we will lose more money

He wont be fired until they have their new coach wrapped up.....CMM may be here another year...another coach buyout will be unpopular.

I’m in the camp that we can’t afford not to fire him. That being said, I actually trust the current admin to do the right thing. If the right thing is to wait a year to get the right coach here, then I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.

This is not the same as last year when Scott kept him strictly to avoid having to be in the coaching market while Wade was down the road at McNeese.

ETA. I’m hoping the we can’t afford to fire him narrative was a means of raising money over the last few weeks.

MBB is not important at LSU. It is what it is.

There is a lot of space between where we are now and a top 10 program. There’s no reason we shouldn’t at least be competitive in the SEC.

All you fire him people put your MONEY where your mouth is.Do you have 200 thousand a month for a couple of years to give him,if not STFU.Its not as simple as you think it is,dumbasses.

Imagine making this incoherent argument to defend a 17-55 SEC record and a dead last finish in the conference. Simply amazing.

It’s a dumb poor person argument.

The fact is LSU could make 5-7 million more a year if we move on which covers the mcbuyout issue

When they come up with a talking point like this as if it’s profound and they’ve discovered something new you’ll notice they never even consider the other side of that coin which would show both sides are absurd.

The other coordinated talking point is “start every argument with ‘I want McMahon gone too but…’ “

Pravda.
