It was the Saban mindset that moved LSU forward out of the dark Joe Dean days. Facilities upgraded, millions poured in and 3 national titles. Now Brian Kelly has a chance to move that legacy. Without Saban, LSU is Ole Miss. Saban changed the direction of the program..

we need to name the field after him before bama does

W. T. F are you kidding me? Name what field after him? The cow pasture down River Rd?
The day the stadium gets a corporate license or the field is named after someone is the day I’ve spent my last dollar at LSU.

Of course. That’s what you do. Dale Brown ruined a basketball program and we celebrate him still.

I think so. He came in and woke the sleeping giant. Why not give him the respect he deserves?

I believe one day he will be cheered alongside his 2003 team. His first champions.

His "first champions" were the 1990 Toledo Rockets, MAC co-champions.

LSU fans booed him when he was in Tiger Stadium coaching the Dolphins

I was at that game; people gave him a standing ovation. The bad blood didn't start until he signed on with Bama.

Will LSU ever bring back Les or O?

Well, Les is sort of tainted and “politically incorrect”, but Ed was just a big lovable dummy who let the wheels come off the wagon- not really tarnished by unforgivable sins…
