He's in the La. Sports Hall of Fame.

LSU fans booed him when he was in Tiger Stadium coaching the Dolphins, so I’m guessing no.
<——Was there but (subtle brag warning) I was in a box so even if I’d have wanted to boo that man, he’d have not heard me.

There weren’t that many folks there, as I recall.

Benson & Tagliabue were nearby.

Whoever said he hates LSU that's simply not true. Last time we played in Tuscaloosa he had 4 or 5 couples of friends from his Baton Rouge days stay at his home.

Why should we care after he jilted us to make a whole other life at division rival Alabama?

Not sure if he will but LSU for the 25th should 100 percent send out the invitation. That year did happen and it should be celebrated.

What? bullshite. I was there. It was weird as frick seeing him on the VISITOR sideline then. Little did we know he’d be back many, many times in the future. But there was literally a standing ovation, myself included.

When he later signed with Bama, I instantly loathed him. Just like that. I mean instantly. It was like a knife in the gut. He was a traitorous motherfricker in the absolute blink of an eye.

I’ve cooled on him a bit since then but it was a long road back to finding him even palatable. Once enough time has passed, I’d welcome him back.

But he’s still got that Bama stink on him. It’s too early. If he’s still alive in 2033, let’s talk.

I've never felt ill will to him for going there. Saban raised expectations at this school to constantly contend for championships.

No one is losses Saban left for the dolphins, choad. He then went to alabama and went in on us dry for the better part of 17 years.
