big game. That said, I think we should negotiate to ensure it's the first game for each team.

I want a rent a win in Week 1 and then OOC P5 game in week two home/home. No neutral site games.

Everyone gets up for early-season matchups with teams like Oregon, Texas, and UCLA.

Much rather play a power 5 school than North Texas or Wofford.

Home or away, I just wish the opening game was on campus every year. Against a team that is interesting but most likely a win.

At home against somebody like Oregon State, UCF or Houston.

The 2019 team opened against Georgia Southern. Regardless of how good they might have been on previous years before that game, Georgia Southern did not qualify as a big first game. And LSU still came out on fire from kickoff.

They need to pull the top 40-60 schools into their own league and they should only play each other.

I like the big kickoff games. I have been to many of them and they make for a fun trip. Plus they add some extra excitement to the off season. That said, a tune up game is probably better for the team.

I love those bigtime season openers. It makes getting to the beginning even that much more exciting for me as a fan....

I love when we play solid Out Of Conference Opponents.

Miami, Wisconsin, TCU, UNC and West Virginia to name a few from the last bunch of years.

And I'm ok if they're neutral site games. Prime Time TV.

I want to see LSU blow the frickin door off opponent after opponent. I want the stars to align so that our enemies fall bloodied and battered beneath our righteous blades.

this will eventually happen. The Power 5 will form their own division, having 60 or so teams. They will only play each other and have their own championship.

The other FBS teams will be in a different division and have their own championship, just like is done now for FCS, D-II, D-III.

Bring on the competition. Anytime, anywhere. Rent-a-wins are boring.

I prefer a big matchup at week 1 with a warm-up game week 0

Rent a win. Big matchup like the 2002 Va Tech game set is back. I am excited about football just being back. I’d rather get a rent a win out of the way and have more meaningful games as the season progresses.

This is the MAIN reason the betting line is low. Coaches always say the team plays much better week 2. Is what it is. I like the BIg time atmosphere early in the season. LSU will be ready!
