John Thompson III being nominated is some kind of nasty social commentary. no one wants him.

Pre rule change/new emphasis, JT3 was a great coach who had a great resume. He rebuilt Georgetown back into a respectable program and made some quality NCAA runs

His princeton offense and style though got completely gelded with the new rules. He just hasn't shown the ability to adapt.

I heard BDP is in the job market. He is as qualified to be LSU Basketball coach as he was special teams coach.

glad someone isn't just immediately dismissing Larry Cordaro (LSUA)
Hardly the worst choice.
Ex Director of LSU BB Ops, runs BB camp and knows LA talent and recruiting.
He's a great XnO coach who players love and buy into his system, which is what transcends all levels of BB.

He's pretty high up there as the worst choice.

Honestly if take a flier on Cordaro over goddamn rick stansbury.

Hiring LSUA's coach is not going to make people care though. He is a damn good coach though, sure better than what we've been trotting out the last 5 years.

I'm still in for Brey. Wouldn't mind Crean. I'll take Mussellman as the fall back. I'd love the Bulls coach who was at ISU. He's on or was on the hot seat. Really fun brand of basketball. Hoiberg.

Going from the NAIA to the SEC is way too much. Him and the Loyola NOLA coach as suggestions are laughable and should be bannable suggestions.

I think Auriemma is a better hire than Cordero and the Loyola NOLA coach.

Ray Harper added to the list.
Only in a "Double Hire Deal" with Jacksonville State Director of Bands/Marching Band Director Ken Bodiford. GBFTL needs new leadership more than any organization on campus and Bodiford is the best there is.

BTW, I'm all for Eric Musselman. Have been since last season; having brought his name up several times during last season's fiasco..........

glad someone understands what I've been watching for the last 2 years

ETA: his NAIA teams has beaten NCAA teams

10/28/15 LSUA 82 SELU 68

11/16/15 LSUA 99 NWSt 97

and has never been blown out by any NCAA teams

Well, maybe he'll land a job at JUCO. That's a step up from LSUA in some ways.
