So remember a few years ago, when we had that really bad defense, and a certain BR radio personality said that "they aren't playing the best players" because Denver Harris wasnt starting? And then that was a rallying cry from certain posters about "start the best player" myth.

Denver Harris played football in 2025 for UNLV. Anyone wanna guess his stats?

2 tackles. Entire year.

I think its safe to say he wasnt the "best player".

The talent was evident when he played, but really none of the corners or safeties played even remotely decent that season. It was the worst defensive backfield in the SEC that year and maybe in the entire P5.

It's a little surprising that he can't get on the field at schools like UNLV, though.

What doesn't happen in Las Vegas doesn't stay in Las Vegas.

Never forget the board lighting up about Denver Harris. Such a polarizing player.. seemingly had the talent but never could act right

Wasn’t there all kinds of drama over getting him here in the first place? Pretty sure I remember that.

There was a thread about UNLV on the MSB the other day, apparently they have a few former LSU players - Denver, Laterrance Welch, Koy Moore and Jalen Lee

Denver only played a couple games, Welch and Lee had pretty decent years, Koy still ain’t good

Koy Moore

His biggest contribution to LSU was in 2022 while playing for Auburn. He helped secure the win by throwing a pick on an attempted trick play

I didn’t know Dan Mullen is currently the head coach at UNLV

Interesting

I completely forgot about Koy Moore. The one thing he did at LSU was make a bullshite complaint against BRPD then transferred.

Some players peak in HS. More often than not, the difference is not talent or natural athletic ability, but instead the willingness to put in the work. So many of these players have someone whispering in their ear from an early age that they are the greatest ever, so the work ethic is never developed.

He was a pot head that certainly didn't work out for us. We definitely had higher expectations for him when he transferred in from Cow Station

Extremely talented/gifted athlete who just didn’t have his head on straight and seemed to refuse to put in the work. Happens all the time.

He washed out at A&M, LSU, UTSA, etc. Numbers support it.

Wasn't he a Texas A&M player? I vaguely remember him.
