One of the reasons that Coach Johnson pitched Skenes on day one of the regional. To set up Skenes for day one of the Super. He & Floyd will pitch 1 & 2.

If Coach's infallible meteorology knowledge and forecast powers indicate that Rain will interrupt Game One of the Super Regional, then he should not pitch the Ace until Game Two.

. Coach pitched him first hoping to get him to go all 9 and be ready for the supers.
