Maybe the older generation. All the ones I interact with aren’t that bad. Sure they hate LSU but everyone hates LSU.

They have no reason to be cocky. Much like Aggies to be honest.

I feel like I see more fights between LSU fans than opposing fans. It’s just how we roll.

I had some Hog fans claiming they parked in BR for a football game, had some words with LSU fans and when they got back to their car after the game, the LSU fans had broken their car window and filled the car with trash.

I asked them to post some pictures and they said they didn’t have any…

It’s not like everyone walks around with a camera in their pocket nowadays…

Considering I’ve seen it with my own eyes, yes.

You get things like this with just about any fanbase as intense as this. But opposing fans never acknowledge instances in history when they acted poorly either.

I've seen them cooked as a joke, but for real though, Ole Miss cooks them on Friday nights outside their bars.

I’ve seen tons of light hearted shite talking, and “listen here you Son of a Bitch” playing around.

I’ve only ever seen a couple truly hostile exchanges….

If you (opposing fans) walk through campus get tiger baited and take it in stride, and have fun with it. They are typically welcomed in, fed and given food…. If they get angry and start shite, it’s probably gonna get hostile quick!

I agree, but I feel like it’s a reasonably safe space to discuss the topic. ??

Can’t tell you how many “stories” I’ve heard over the years from opposing fan bases about LSU fans.

Everything from children and old women cussing them out to people throwing glass bottles at them.

Do yall believe this stuff? Honestly I don’t. Sure I think our fans can get rowdy and hostile but only if provoked. If you come in talking smack looking for trouble, it will find you.

I think people completely make up stuff and exaggerate their so called stories.

Coming from the opposing end of this, I've never had any crazy interactions with Tiger fans when they've played the Cajuns. If anything, I've gotten "Tiger Bait"ed once or twice all in fun.

I will say, though, I've been to a few games between the Cajuns and Tigers at Alex Box and have learned that the further I sit from home plate, the more banter occurs. I've sat in the grandstand behind home plate and can say that those LSU fans are one of the most knowledgeable groups of baseball fans I've ever interacted with. I've also sat in the outfield where all I heard was constant yelling from some Bubba sitting behind us and looked like he just came in from his two week offshore shift.

The ratios aren’t the Same. There’s many fan bases that have a reputation.

So you think the other school's reputations are correct but LSU's is wrong?

Let me ask you this, what are all of the things that you think other fan bases do that LSU fans don't?

Definitely not lying. LSU has their fair share of bad apples. That said, LSU fans are definitely wired differently than other fanbases. A lot of times it's actually kinda funny at some of the stuff done. Other times not as much but definitely we're a unique fanbase.

I think some are true but then others clutch their pearls and invent lame offenses they “saw”

I'll say this from my experience and I've been to every SEC school outside Mizzou multiple times - and have been going since the 80's.

The worst treatment of opposing fans I've seen by any fan base is from LSU fans - multiple examples and I say that as a passionate LSU fan.

I hear LSU fans bitching about opposing fans constantly and I've had very few egregious instances of anything close to what I've seen LSU fans do to others.

I've also seen LSU fans treat opposing fans better than any other....multiple examples.

I've been a season ticket holder for over 20 years and I've had two bad experiences when bringing guests. It really ruins the whole experience for others when a small number of idiots show their arse. So, it's at a 90% positive clip for me.

Shaking the opponents busses is real

I love telling this story. In '03 we went out by the PMAC the Friday night before the UGA game. Some UGA family comes driving in between the PMAC and Tiger Stadium with flags and stickers all over their minivan. I swear about 40 students surrounded that van and started shaking the frick out of and I believe one of the kids jumped on the hood. I bet those people were shitting themselves.

Throwing bottles at Kentucky Marching Band members while performing on the field at halftime in Tiger Stadium IS REAL.

It happened back when I was in Tiger Band.

Some drunk pos threw a bottle and hit a UK Band member as they were finishing up their show and exiting the field.

The full UK Band has never been back to Tiger Stadium either.

corn dogs is the dumbest thing ever and only stayed around because of social media and trolls. So I don't pay attention to that.

Yes most of them are exaggerated. Other than some verbal abuse, most altercations I've seen or been involved in were LSU fans fighting other LSU fans for being disruptively belligerent. Usually it's your run of the mill white trash redneck that probably drives an F250 with a lift kit adorned with the dirtiest truck nuts on the Delta.

My altercation was in Lambeau of all places and it was a drunk LSU fan.

We’ve earned some of the reputation but the losers that say “LSU fans are the worst” honestly aren’t the brightest

LSU fanbase is amazing and if you can handle a little ribbing and “Geaux Tigers”, you’ll be fine.

As with any school worth a damn, the students can get a little crazy but that’s to be expected
