I think Lagway is very fixable.

That’s the question.

DJ is now at 17/15 for his career. There will be better options in the portal next year. People still are buying into the HS hype and are infatuated with the fact that he throws a "pretty" ball.

I would take Lagway. What was Daniel's record prior to LSU? It wasn't good. Even ASU fans were happy he bolted. Look what happened.

I think you can fix Lagway. Now, could Sloan fix him? I doubt it.

I’d rather have Eli Holstein if he wants to come home

I thought he looked like a stud last year as a freshman. Even last night he had moments. What people in here don't understand is he's not where he needs to be because he's constantly injury riddled and hasn't ended up with enough practice compared to the average QB. His fall camp is essentially the games played this season which is a huge disadvantage.

He's really talented and I think he could be big time. He's only a true sophomore. He's injury prone though and due to that, I'd pass on him for that reason alone. You saw it last night he doesn't know how to protect himself and defenses love hitting him. He takes big hits.

I didn’t catch that game yesterday but I know WVU is not a good team and had no business beating Pitt

Some talking heads are speculating if Sunbelt Billy is fired from FL, that Lagway would portal to the highest bidder. Said LSU might be interested. Thoughts?

That would have sounded like a dream scenario 24 hours ago.

I’m sure Holstein might be interested in coming home for his last year. He may not be the best option but he would come with a lot of playing experience.

Lagway is an inaccurate passer and doesn't have the speed to be a running quarterback. Those two things are huge negatives in college football.

Id prefer Levitt out of everyone but i wouldn't be mad at Lagway in all honesty. Van Buren didn't look great this fall...at all...But we have to have more athleticism at the qb position if we are going to run this offense. Garrett and qbs like him dont fit our scheme.

He probably has some nice upside but why would we think Sloan can help him reach his potential.

Eli Holstein? Why not add Walker Howard to the list while we're at it.
