Who gives a shite? It’s basketball for Pete’s sake. The officials have more to do with the outcome of basketball than the teams do most of the time

Or just watch both. Although basketball is far more entertaining at the moment.

What’s entertaining about it? Jog up and down the floor, no defense allowed, no offense to speak of, just chunk up three pointers after some sloppy passes, bullshite “fouls,” and the last 30 seconds of a game lasts 30 minutes.

Because action is happening all the time. It’s a three dimensional contact sport (at times), and the creativity that can happen during any given play is unmatched by any other sport. Epic comebacks, crazy buzzer beaters, and bad arse dunks also make it worth watching.

Considering 90% of baseball games aren’t even on national TV, I’d say a lot of people don’t give a shite about baseball. Now on the flip side, LSU basketball is playing in a tournament that produces billions in revenue. Maybe you should think a little more on your statement buddy

Yep. Generally baseball is less exciting than basketball, MUCH less this time of year. March Madness: infinitely more interesting than March college baseball.

I love both sports although basketball is not what it used to be in the 80’s from an entertainment value IMO. With that, I find baseball extremely entertaining from an intellectual stimulation perspective. The plays within the plays and high level of strategic thinking baseball requires is unmatched by any sport. To get it, you would have very likely had to have played the game. It isn’t a reactionary game like basketball or even football for that matter.

Even if that were the case (which it is not), it would be more action than you're getting watching LSU scratch across one run in 18 innings. The one run LSU scored was a player that reached base with two outs after popping the ball up just outside of the infield and the Mississippi State right fielder and first basemen miscommunicated and didn't catch an otherwise routine pop-up. While watching LSU go three and out inning after inning for 18 innings is a real thriller to some , to most of the sane world, it's awful.

You didn’t address his point at all, which is simply that he doesn’t like basketball as it is currently played. Your point seems to be that we should all like whatever is most popular. I’m guessing you are the type who stayed up all night to watch the royal wedding.
